A restaurant founded by a Venezuelan couple from the state of Mérida in the spring of 2019. The idea arose to offer a completely different dining option in Jávea, whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Thus, SAFRANERA CAFETERÍA's cuisine was born, featuring traditional Venezuelan recipes with the authentic flavors, aromas, and memories that characterize our gastronomy.

At SAFRANERA CAFETERIA, our vision is to showcase Venezuelan gastronomy as a unique experience, with a service more accessible to more people throughout the year. We highlight its healthy, vegan side, with fresh, quality products that evoke the aromas of the Venezuelan Andes.
Currently, Chef Joe Castillo passionately tends the stoves, and his culinary mastery creates authentic magic with flavors, transporting you to Venezuela with every bite. Leading the gastronomic experience is his partner, Edaly Peña, who will provide expert guidance if you wish to explore the culinary treasures of this corner of the world.
SAFRANERA CAFETERIA is located in El Arenal, in the town of Xàbia/Jávea, Alicante/Alacant. The name, a curious detail, comes from one of Jávea's old windmills, a tribute to this unique tourist spot. Our fundamental mission is to bring the essence of traditional Venezuelan cuisine to your table. Located in a cozy and picturesque restaurant in the heart of Jávea, we strive to offer a unique culinary experience that appeals to diners of all ages and backgrounds.
